Electric Buses

Thousands of hybrid-electric and fuel cell buses operating around the world today have demonstrated the feasibility and benefits of electric propulsion in transit vehicles. As battery technologies advance, buses will become less dependent on liquid and gaseous fuels. A new generation of new, more battery-dominant hybrid and fuel cell buses will soon appear, and pure battery-electric propulsion will become practical for some bus applications.
