The Coalition for Clean Air is the only environmental action group in Southern California dedicated exclusively to restoring clean, healthful air to residents. The Coalition for Clean Air has strengthened California's air quality laws through public education and outreach, research and policy advocacy.
EarthToys is an on-line magazine and information resource focused on bringing its readers up to date information on green building and alternative energy products, services, news and education. This is an open, unbiased service with the goal of providing a means for the alternative energy and green building industries to report on themselves.

EESI is an independent non-profit organization, established in 1984 by a bipartisan group of Congressional Members to find and promote environmental and energy solutions. EESI relies on contributions from individuals, corporations and foundations to carry out our mission to set us on a cleaner, more secure and sustainable energy path.
Natural Resources Defense Council
The NRDC is the nation's most effective environmental action organization. The NRDC uses law, science, and the support of 1.2 million members and online activists to protect the planet's wildlife and wild places and to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all living things. The NRDC’s Air/Energy Program focuses on clean air standards, global warming, transportation, energy efficiency, renewable energy and electric-industry restructuring.
Northeast Sustainable Energy Association
The NESEA is the nation's leading regional membership organization focused on promoting the understanding, development, and adoption of energy conservation and non-polluting, renewable energy technologies. For more than thirty years, NESEA has facilitated and enhanced a network of professionals, practitioners, and other citizens in pursuit of responsible energy use. Our programs and activities focus on the northeastern United States, from Washington, DC to Maine. The NESEA organizes the annual Tour De Sol, the Great American Green Transportation Festival, a unique, award-winning, year-round public education campaign that culminates in May in a series of festivals in the Northeast linked by a road-rally competition.
The Sierra Club is a national organization dedicated to the appreciation and preservation of the natural world. Sierra Club has both extensive environmental advocacy programs (including lobbying and political action) and outdoor recreation programs. The Sierra Club Raise promotes the goal of raising fuel economy standards for new cars, trucks, and SUVs to an average of 40 miles per gallon over the next decade, which would save more oil than The U.S. imports from the Persian Gulf and could get from the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge combined. The Sierra Club specifically supports hybrid vehicles as a means of achieving this goal.
Union of Concerned Scientists
The Union of Concerned Scientists is an independent organization of scientists and other citizens concerned about the impact of science and advanced technology on society. With offices in Cambridge, MA, Washington, DC, and Berkeley, its programs focus on global resources, national energy policy, national security policy, arms control, nuclear power safety and transportation. California staff's expertise and outreach focuses mainly on transportation and energy issues in the state. Recent work focuses on clean vehicle technology, zero-emission vehicle incentives and electric industry deregulation as it affects renewable, non-polluting sources.
